Death by Protein Shake
*270ml can of coconut cream (half for the whipped cream topping and half for the shake)
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
¼ cup raw cashew nuts
1 shot of espresso (or a teaspoon of instant coffee)
Handful of ice
*Coconut cream chilled in the fridge
2 teaspoons of cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of tahini
1 teaspoon of Nativia sweetener
Hot water to make desired consistency
- Place can of coconut cream in the fridge overnight. Do not shake because you will want to scoop the firm cream off the top and use for your coconut whip topping. Whisk this up until fluffy and set aside.
- Place the remaining contents from the coconut cream in the blender along with shake ingredients and blend until smooth. * You may need to add some extra water to this mixture.
- To make the chocolate topping mix all ingredients together and gradually add the hot water until desired consistency is reached.
- Pour the protein mixture into a jar and top with the coconut whip and chocolate topping.
